INTRODUCTION
Deep Work is a term coined by author and professor Cal
Newport, which refers to the ability to focus without distraction
on a cognitively demanding task. It's the kind of work that
requires sustained attention, creativity, and critical thinking
According to Cal Newport, in the new economy, large companies
can quickly conquer global markets using digital tools and
technology, and by producing new products and services, they
can experience greater growth and development. Therefore, to
survive in this economy, companies must always be innovating
and improving their processes.

important in the new economy:
High-Skilled Workers: These workers are often well-educated, tech-
savvy, and able to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
Superstars: These are individuals who have achieved exceptional
success in their fields
Owners: These are the owners and investors who have the capital and
resources to fund new ventures and support innovation.

Develop Rare and Valuable Skills: In the new economy, individuals who
possess rare and valuable skills that are in high demand will be highly sought after
Leverage Technology: Technology is a key driver of the new economy, and
individuals who are able to leverage technology to their advantage will be more
successful. This includes using digital tools and platforms
Cultivate a Strong Network: In the new economy, success often depends on
who you know as much as what you know
Focus on Deep Work : The ability to quickly master hard things , and The
ability to produce at an elite level, in terms of both quality and speed.
The two core abilities just described depend on your ability to perform deep work.

Deep Work Helps You Produce at an Elite Level
Attention Residue: when you switch from Task A another Task B, your Attention
remains stuck thinking about the original task.
This residue gets especially thick if your work on Task A was unbounded and of low
intensity before you switched, but even if you finish Task A before moving on, your
attention remains divided for a while.

  • 7. INTRODUCTION Deep Work is a term coined by author and professor Cal Newport, which refers to the ability to focus without distraction on a cognitively demanding task. It's the kind of work that requires sustained attention, creativity, and critical thinking According to Cal Newport, in the new economy, large companies can quickly conquer global markets using digital tools and technology, and by producing new products and services, they can experience greater growth and development. Therefore, to survive in this economy, companies must always be innovating and improving their processes. 7
