Cindy McCain OK With 'Don't Ask' After All She tweets support of husband's stance on gay ban

(Newser) – Well this is confusing. Cindy McCain made headlines this week for appearing in anti-bullying ad in which she criticized "political leaders" for telling gay teens "they can't serve our country openly." It was seen as a clear indictment of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, which a certain senator from Arizona is trying to keep in place. Last night, though, Cindy McCain issued a tweet with a seemingly conflicted message, notes the Huffington Post.

"I fully support the NOH8 campaign and all it stands for and am proud to be a part of it," reads the tweet. "But I stand by my husband's stance on DADT." Which seems a wee bit contradictory, though John McCain pledged a few years ago to support repeal if the Pentagon approved, and a soon-to-be-released military review suggests it will. Apparently all that Botox has caused her brain to rot. She and that decrepit old coward she's married to should just stay in one of their eight homes and count their money. The John McCain Stroke Wait begins. Tick...tick...tick....

Cindy McCain is correct. Bullying and being openly gay in the military is NOT the same. So I can see how she can be against bullying and be for DADT.

She's a dingbat. Seriously...doesn't she know that that Maverick McCain needs her and her family fortunes a hell of a lot more than they need him?
