Dr. Andrew received his Bachelor of Dental Science degree at the University of Melbourne. Upon graduating, he chose to work in various community health centres in the Geelong Regional Area, the rural town of Colac and the newly created Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative in North Geelong.

Upon returning to Melbourne, he worked predominantly in private practice, focussing on his love of preventive and aesthetic dentistry, whilst still providing care in the community health service sector.

Being committed to continuing professional development and providing optimal patient care, he has attended courses in aesthetic dentistry, Edelweiss laminate veneers, dental implants, surgical crown lengthening, root canal therapy, nitrous sedation as well as laser dentistry and works closely with various dental specialists to ensure his patients receive optimal care.

Whether he is treating his patients, mentoring recent graduates and teaching dental students on a volunteer basis, Dr Andrew always strives to get the best outcome for people, as he really values others’ wellbeing and growth inside and outside the clinic. He always makes his patients feel comfortable, safe and relaxed during their time in his presence and works closely with staff, aiding them to each reach their greatest potential.

He has been a member of the Australian Dental Association since graudation and was elected to serve on the Association's Victoria Branch Council as a liaison between the council and various committees including oral health and finance and risk.

He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Prosthodontic Society.

In his spare time, Dr. Andrew enjoys Lego and music with his young son, playing board games and going dancing with his wife.

"Dentistry is one of the few fields in health that utilizes preventive regimens to achieve and maintain health, beauty and confidence. It is a prime example of the old adage: prevention is better than cure."
