At this point The Braves have 2 open spots and 3 people who could be put on the 60-day IL. If they decide to keep Ian Anderson on the minor league IL like last year then we have 4 open roster spots. I am assuming that Angel Perdomo and Penn Murfee will be on the 60-day because they will not be back from injury till the end of the year if not longer.

I suspect why we have all these open spots is they are not on our team right now. I suspect that a bench piece, a starting pitcher and a bullpen piece will be add before opening day.

With David Fletcher playing well in spring training he may get a bench and 40-man spot. If Elder continues to struggle this spring and Lopez middling and if there is the right person that would push Lopez to the bullpen as the long relief. Jackson Stephens gets pushed to AAA. Also if they want to move Dylan Lee to AAA they could add to the bullpen.

This all gets me to the possible add through waivers or cash trades. We are one of few teams that have the ability to add freely, without losing another player.

I would not be surprised to see Kelenic moved to AAA for a few months and another Vet outfielder brought in the platoon with Duvall.

I don't see us spending much money and staying under the $277MM luxury tax line.
