The first game will start Monday at 12:20 p.m. ET as was regularly scheduled. The teams will play again starting at 6:20 p.m. ET. The Braves will have to travel to Chicago after the game to start a road trip.
Bryce Elder, who was scheduled to start Saturday’s game, will be pushed back a day and will start Sunday’s game. Yu Darvish will start Sunday’s game for the Padres.
Dylan Cease will start one of Monday’s games for San Diego. Joe Musgrove would be a candidate to star the other game. The Braves haven’t announced their plans for Monday but they could go with Reynaldo Lopez and Chris Sale. There other option would be to call someone up from Gwinnett to make one of those starts as the 27th man for the doubleheader.
