'Hoedown Throwdown'은 한나 몬타나:더 무비의 사운드트랙으로, 2009년 3월 10일 라디오 전용 프로모셔널 싱글로 발매되었다.
영화 속에서 고향으로 돌아와 파티에 참석한 마일리 사이러스가 이 노래를 부르며 춤을 추는 장면이 나온다. 이 장면이 마일리 사이러스의 최애 장면이라고.
이 춤 때문에 인기를 끈 노래다. 한나 몬타나의 인기와 맞물려 이 춤을 따라 추는 10대 소녀들이 많았다고. 그 덕에 라디오 전용 싱글이었음에도 빌보드 핫 100과 영국 오피셜 차트 모두에서 18위까지 올라가는 등 성공을 거두었다.
