Please Note: The community is not very active therefore there is currently no input on that talk page. I have support from one of the admins, the most recently active one, on email, and he is going to add his support to that talk page shortly. I would also like to request Bureaucrat access so that in future if more admins are needed I can assign them rather than coming here. I have knowledge of the 'crat tools from various Wikia and also my own wikis and wiki hosting service.

Permanent adminship is only granted if there is sufficient community support in the wiki. Please ask the community first on the appropriate page, wait *at least* a week and come back if there are some votes in favor. Bureaucrat access is not granted on such small wikis (and never without community input). If there is no active community and you want to do certain tasks that you need sysop rights for, please request temporary adminship (usually granted for not more than 3 months) below. Hi... I see this has sat for 2 days, which usually doesn't happen, so I decided to take a look. I got a bit confused. I don't speak Italian so I may have interpreted things wrong, but it appears to me that the policy says "La maggioranza richiesta per la riconferma è dei 2/3 (circa 67%) e, nel calcolo, non si contano gli astenuti." which I read as "about" 67% margin in favour of reconfirmation is required. I counted the votes and it appears to be 76 to 39. This is slightly below 2/3 but it may be within "about 2/3" depending on how "about" is interpreted (which would be a pass) or, if the wording is saying "exactly" 2/3 and pointing out that is "about" 67% then it would be a fail. So I didn't act because I wanted to double check. Has this outcome been discussed or certified by other it:wp admins, or by bureaucrats or whatever? Some clarification might help. (note, this is just me being uncertain and trying to be safe... some other Italian speaking steward may come along, look at this and say "of course, it's obvious what was meant"... but since no one had acted yet, I decided to try to determine what to do) Thanks. ++Lar: t/c 11:40, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Well: 76 + 39 = 115 115*2/3 = 76.666 and 76 is a lower result. 76 + 39 = 115 115*67% = 77.05 . In both ways I.B obtained a smaller number of votes than what is required. The result hasn't been discussed, but I see that while I was waiting for your answer, two other sysop removed I.B. from our list [21]and archived the poll [22]. Afaik we don't add importer rights (especially without approval of the community) because the XML import caused some trouble in the database so that Tim was forced to disable it. Please have a look at Help:Import: On Wikimedia wikis upload import is disabled; moreover, on many Wikimedia wikis transwiki import is disabled too […]. However, pages from foundation:, w: and cs: can currently be imported to Meta, and pages from Meta can be imported to mw:. The act of importing is added to the page history and to Special:Log/import. I've seen that some Importeur rights were given in there. As far as I know, stewards also have this function (I always asked User:Thogo to split articles this way, then he asked me why I don't do it myself), so upload import is not disabled at de.wp.
