I posted it for my friend.
Hi everyone, I'm from Taiwan, with a background in applied arts and a GPA of 2.9. I've scored 93 on the TOEFL and 320 on the GRE. Professionally, I've spent two years as a UX designer at Taiwan's largest travel company and another two years as a Front-End Developer(React). I'm now looking to pursue a Master's in Computer Science in the U.S. with the goal of working there for about three years.
I'm considering several universities but haven't applied yet. I would appreciate any suggestions or insights, especially from those who have experience with these programs or know about job prospects in the U.S. post-graduation.
Here are my options:
University of Pennsylvania: Master of Computer and Information Technology Program
University of Chicago: MS in Computer Science (with Immersion) program
University of Purdue: MS in Computer Science
Northeastern University: MSCS—Align Program
University of California, Riverside: MS in Computer Science
Boston University: MS in Computer Science
Emory University: MS in Computer Science
Brandeis University: MS in Computer Science
University of San Francisco: MS in Computer Science
Syracuse University: MS in Computer Science
Baylor University: MS in Computer Science
NYU-Tandon: MS in Computer Science
NYU-Tandon-Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences: MS in Computer Science
Thank you in advance for your help!
