Hi guys! I'm new to GMAT Club (just made an account + started to prepare for the GMAT). Planning to apply in Round 2 hopefully given I do well on GMAT the first time! Commenting so I 'follow' the thread

Thank you so much! Just did the official GMAT Practice Test 1 after a week of prep as a benchmark and got 750 (Q50, V41), need to put some effort into Verbal and consolidate my quant (a few silly mistakes on there), would you recommend the OG advanced questions? I have only used the OG Guide so far and have a voucher for 25% off the advanced questions

Well.. as you are already comfortable with sub-700 level questions, at this stage it makes sense to focus more on advanced questions. Having said that, you should definitely seek GMAT experts' opinion & prepare your practicing strategy accordingly. We have a dedicated forum of GMAT experts here. Feel free to post your query and they would happily answer.

It’s stated in the application that AWA score in required for GMAT/GRE. Does that mean taking GMAT Online will not make us eligible to apply to the program?

I went to an LBS event and they said they accept GMAT Online results so don't worry about not having AWA, a blessing in disguise imo

Thank you! I spoke to someone from LBS today and she said I should apply for Round 1 if possible (was originally planning on applying for round 2). In terms of the GMAT, how long does it take for the results to be sent to LBS? I also plan to apply for LSE/Imperial later in the year if I get rejected by LBS. Do I need to specify all three universities when I do the test (because I heard you have to select universities to send your test results to) and can I literally book the test on the day before the deadline as the result is instant?

Another thing, I read that GMAT Online can only be taken once so if I don't get a good score I can't retake? Just wanted to confirm that is indeed the case, works out well for me though as I don't plan on retaking.

I heard there will be No study trips this year for MIM class because of covid situation. Also,LBS doesn't know when will students be on campus, till then classes are online. I think it will be better to apply to Later Rounds to see how this covid situation unfolds. After-all, who wants to study MIM online!!

At many MBA programs, demands for fee cuts have been raised due to online teaching. Any such debates for Masters programs happening? Do we expect reduction in fees till the on-campus tutoring does not resume?

Hello all applicants,

Does anyone know when usually they’ll get back to you on whether you have been accepted for an interview? I applied in the ‘Early Decision’ round, three weeks ago, and I was wondering how long it takes. Thanks.

Hey Ahaj96, Does LBS MiM program have Early Decision round? Why it is not then displayed in their application calendar here? https://www.london.edu/masters-degrees/ ... n-calendar

they do. there are 5 rounds in total and the first round is the early decision round. i guess early decision and “round 1” are interchangeable.

Hey guys,
Did anyone submit the application? I submitted mine 3-4 days back. Haven't heard back yet from LBS about the completeness of my application. Do they usually write back or directly give you an interview decision?

You get a confirmation email for submitting the application form but that's it, I just submitted mine too
