Hi! You have a stellar profile to say the least. However, a lot will depend on how you articulate personal and professional stories in your essays and interview. A key insight is that ISB is focusing quite a bit on personal aspects of the application where your NGO experience will be very handy, along with your MS Power BI Certification. Plus, a key question for you will be about your goals and how ISB will help you in achieving that goal (why you wouldn't be able to get there without ISB). You have a very good professional journey with 2 promotions to justify it, however the experience is slightly less than the average experience of the class and hence the above mentioned questions will become all the more important.

We have 40+ mentors from ISB on our platform IvyCrackers and few of them are on ISB admissions interview panel. You can book a complimentary 30-mins call with us and one of the interview panelists will evaluate your profile in detail. In this call, we will delve deep into your profile, discuss on GMAT prep, help you build an overall strategy for your ISB application, and answer any questions you have about ISB.

Hey Asishkancherla

I hope you are doing well. Your profile for ISB showcases a promising blend of academic achievement and relevant work experience. Strong 12th-grade scores and graduation from a top-ranked NIT demonstrate a solid academic foundation. Your experience in business analytics, particularly at a company that recruits from ISB, is valuable. The promotions and employee recognition awards highlight your strong work ethic and potential for leadership.

There's room to strengthen your application even further. While the GMAT score is yet to be determined, targeting a high score (720+) will significantly improve your candidacy. The extracurricular section presents a good starting point. Volunteering with an NGO showcases your social responsibility, and organizing a large-scale quizzing competition demonstrates initiative and leadership qualities. Consider elaborating on the specific skills you honed through these experiences.

We can schedule a 1:1 call to delve deeper into your profile. We can brainstorm ways to quantify the impact of your NGO work, explore how best to present your leadership skills in the application essays and discuss strategies to approach the GMAT effectively. This personalized guidance can help you craft a truly compelling application for ISB.
