Re: Calling all Applicants: INSEAD January 2025 Intake [#permalink]
I noticed two misses in my application - a mismatch of dates on the extra-curricular achievement dates and the salary I quoted for my current job includes bonus - I was planning to email. Few days back, the AO reached out for a document clarification. I am concerned if opening this thread would be seen as carelessness.
Would it be recommended to drop the correction email?

Guys I have a query and it may sound stupid.

Can a CV be of 1 page, front & back? Or should it be of 1 page, mentioning all the details on the front page only?

Piscine15 - 1 pager (in total), preferably in INSEAD's official format here. You could check here for some guidelines on crafting a strong CV - hope it helps some.

Can’t we submit a CV (a detailed version of resume) in place of a Resume?

You're welcome. I would suggest sticking to the officially recommended format. If there are other nuances/ details about your work-ex that you'd like to include, the Career Essays and rest of the application form are potential avenues to do that.

Arvind

Yes, I applied in R2 and received an interview invite early friday, but I applied very early at the round. KP is my AO. Havent received names of interviewers yet.

My guess is that they send invitation on a rolling basis based on your application date, good luck everyone.

This is the most common question MBA applicants ask. The top B-schools put a lot of emphasis on strategic resume formatting, but at the same time, let me also say that formatting alone will not get you noticed. You should be aware that an evaluator will spend less than a minute on your resume during the initial review, so you need to keep the language clear, the design uncluttered, and emphasise the points that can get you through the front door. If you have less than 8 years of work experience, you should ideally only create a one-page single sided resume.

 remember to:
1. Depict an upward progression across jobs (less space and weight for older jobs, and clear growth trajectory for recent roles)
Your interviewer might cross question you regarding the (or lack of) upward trajectory looking at your resume during the interview
2. Allocate only 2-3 bullets under each job if you have multiple jobs. Focus on creating high impact bullets
3. Highlight international exposure and experience in the resume (important)
