Re: Calling all Applicants: INSEAD January 2025 Intake [#permalink]
For R1 applicants - has insead already sent out rejection letters - if any? or does it normally wait for end of all rounds before notifying the candidates?
Applied for R2 and super anxious leading upto the interview selection deadline of May 24

I faced this issue where my interviewer was not responding so I emailed my AO and she immediately helped me in connecting with the interviewer and even offered to reassign in case I didn’t get a response. You can try this too

Yes, I have done this already and I got two new interviewers assigned. I only heard back from one of them. Still waiting on the other. I have already dropped in an email to my AO about this last night. The Singapore office is closed today due to Labour day. So I will hear back tomorrow.

So the Admission Officers (AO) send out the interview invites on a rolling basis. I submitted my application on 12th March (1st round deadline) and I got my interview selection email on 12th April (1st round interview result deadline).

If you haven’t heard already, you can be hopeful until May 24th since thats the 2nd round interview result deadline

For R1, I have noticed people who submitted the applications way before the application deadline, heard about interview results before others did. So yeah, its on a rolling basis.

Is rejection letters generally after all around are done or do rejection letters come along with interview invites ?

From what I have read in this room so far, just as the interview selection email go out on rolling basis, the rejection emails are sent out similarly.

For the time being, I really try not to think about it ...The wait might be a little bit more excruciating.

Folks I’ve made a massive mistake. I just realised I uploaded a version of my CV that has a blank in the time period for my first job (a typo - instead of saying 2019-20 it says Year - Year)
I know I should’ve been more careful while submitting but I was so crunched for time when I submitted that I somehow missed this 😭 is there anything I can do now? I’m panicking that the AO will get the impression I have no attention to detail. I’ve just about given up hope of an interview call now

I submitted on 23rd April. Pls help me out folks any advice here?

Call the university or email your AO. Show them you care and noted your error. It may count for something.

Not a major issue! Just email the AO with the changes. I had put an extra zero in my salary number and asked AO to change and the final result has been positive only. good luck!

Hi All, is it worth writing to your AO to request changes in the language section of the application? I filled English as my first native language although I speak 2 different regional/national languages that I can show as first native instead. How likely are they to update it?

Hello drn2804,

Hope this finds you well.

The best approach would be to write to the AO; accept your error, attach a fresh version of your resume, and request them to consider it. That is what would make them feel like you care. :-)

All the best!

Hello Akhosla07,

Yes; absolutely; whether they will consider it or not is a separate matter; at your end, though, you must try!

All the best!

Akhosla07 As long as you have mentioned other languages besides English, everything is fine (because of INSEAD's multi-language criterion). If you are an Indian applicant, the admissions office will already assume that you have reversed native and 2nd languages. You do not have to tell them explicitly, although you can, but neither would affect the evaluation of the application.

Best wishes

Has anyone received an admit for R1 recently? Seems awfully quiet on that front :P
