I'm in hong kong, so the time is almost midnight over here. They called me

official portal/scholarship/info etc will be sent in the next day or so

My phone call came from Kara Adams in AdCom, not my interviewer. I’m based in The U.S. though, so perhaps it’s differs based on location.

I called the admissions office just now. They said that they haven’t uploaded any of the scholarship information, but that they would do so this afternoon.

Got waitlisted with an invitation to interview. What are my chances now?

This was mentioned in the letter-
"Candidates who accept this waitlist offer are reconsidered as space becomes available. Updated decisions may be issued at any time, but most typically in the late spring and summer until the start of fall classes."

Does it really get this late to hear back from them?

Was able to check that on phone.
There was another letter just below the admission letter named December 9. This letter had the scholarship info.
