Hi All,
Bunuel has shown how to properly reduce the fraction. Since the answers are numbers though, if you thought that you might be making a mistake in your calculations, then you could use these answers to your advantage and 'rewrite' the equation...
3.003/2.002 =
(one of the answers)(2.002) = 3.003
At this point, most Test Takers would probably assume that the answer was 1.5, so let's start there....
Is... (1.5)(2.002) = 3.003?
(1)(2.002) = 2.002
(.5)(2.002) = 1.001
2.002 + 1.001 = 3.003
This is a match for what we were given, so the solution MUST be 1.5
