Defending 176, India were down and out at one point when South Africa needed 26 runs to win in 24 balls. However, a brilliant comeback by India saw the team win the game by 7 runs. Heinrich Klaasen was well set on 52 and it seemed he would take the game away from the Men in Blue. However, Hardik Pandya removed Klaasen while giving just four runs in the 17th over. Bumrah bowled a magnificent follow-up over and gave two runs while also knocking over Marco Jansen. The penultimate over by Arshdeep Sing fetched only four runs for South Africa as they were left with 16 to win in the final over. Hardik Pandya got rid of David Miller on the first ball, courtesy of a brilliant catch by Suryakumar Yadav, and sealed the game for India.
