The document discusses social media and policy considerations for its use. It outlines how social media has transformed from one-way broadcasting to two-way conversations. It provides tips for developing a social media strategy, including thinking strategically, engaging the right people, monitoring discussions, and building online communities. The document also stresses the importance of training users on privacy and guidelines for participating in social media to represent an organization appropriately.
The document describes the nomadic lifestyle of Catherine and Ine over a 3 month period where they lived in South Africa near the sea in a design apartment, drove a vintage car, went on game watches in Kruger National Park, had barbecues on beaches, tried wine, went surfing, and had fun meeting people. Though they are not rich, they are able to live this lifestyle by continuing to work online as a communication professional and web designer/photographer. They advocate designing your own life and being location independent by living on the road while working through tools like laptops, smartphones, and software for communication, time tracking, file sharing, and backup.
1) The document discusses how social media has evolved from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0, with Web 2.0 being more dynamic, interactive, and powered by networks rather than hierarchies.
2) It notes both the advantages of a more connected "Social Citizen" enabled by social media, but also the dangers if not used with caution.
3) The document provides tips for staying safe online, such as considering if your mother would blush at what you post, not trusting friends fully, and using privacy settings on social software.
This document outlines a couple's plan to take a year off from their normal lives to travel the world and work remotely. They will rent out their house and sell their car to fund the trip while continuing to work as web designers. They plan to travel to Cape Town, Thailand, and Buenos Aires, working online along the way. They discuss the tools and setup they need to work remotely, including laptops, internet access, backup solutions, and international insurance. The goal is to spend less while having more freedom and time to pursue personal interests through location-independent work.
Social media has allowed for unprecedented interaction between internet users, forming what is called the "Social Media Starfish" of sites like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter where people connect and share. However, controlling conversations is difficult as quoted by Rupert Murdoch who notes media companies no longer control discussions. For brands to be successful in social media, they must learn it is a place for trading attention - the currency users have - for values, information and entertainment provided by brands, but some may misinterpret the nature of social media if they do not learn how it works quickly.
This document provides biographical information about an individual, including their interests such as chocolate, bread, and photography. It lists experiences the person had such as studying in prison, traveling to Iraq and Palestine in the early 2000s, and starting a photoblog website. It encourages reaching for ambitions despite challenges. The document concludes with contact information.
1. Waarom & Hoe ‘Neen’
Zeggen Tegen Klanten

StarterFest 2017 - De Krook
DE WEG NAAR EEN GELUKKIGER ONDERNEMERSCHAP? ;)
24. Maakt Het
Me Gelukkig?
of over 6 jaar?
@MATUVU
25. Evalueer Je
Bestaande Klanten
@MATUVU
26. Verhoog
@MATUVU
27. Verzin
Geen Excuses
Als je neen zegt,
hoef je geen uitleg te geven.
Het lukt je niet. Of je wil het niet.
@MATUVU
28. Voorzie
@MATUVU
29. Zoek
Lotgenoten
