1) The document discusses how social media has evolved from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0, with Web 2.0 being more dynamic, interactive, and powered by networks rather than hierarchies.
2) It notes both the advantages of a more connected "Social Citizen" enabled by social media, but also the dangers if not used with caution.
3) The document provides tips for staying safe online, such as considering if your mother would blush at what you post, not trusting friends fully, and using privacy settings on social software.
This document outlines a couple's plan to take a year off from their normal lives to travel the world and work remotely. They will rent out their house and sell their car to fund the trip while continuing to work as web designers. They plan to travel to Cape Town, Thailand, and Buenos Aires, working online along the way. They discuss the tools and setup they need to work remotely, including laptops, internet access, backup solutions, and international insurance. The goal is to spend less while having more freedom and time to pursue personal interests through location-independent work.
Social media has allowed for unprecedented interaction between internet users, forming what is called the "Social Media Starfish" of sites like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter where people connect and share. However, controlling conversations is difficult as quoted by Rupert Murdoch who notes media companies no longer control discussions. For brands to be successful in social media, they must learn it is a place for trading attention - the currency users have - for values, information and entertainment provided by brands, but some may misinterpret the nature of social media if they do not learn how it works quickly.

5. Een foto moet iets
vertellen
Een goede foto moet kunnen
vertellen wat we in geen
woorden kunnen zeggen en
maakt iets los bij de kijker.
Bij het bekijken van de foto
moet je passie, schoonheid,
gedrevenheid, onmacht,…
voelen en de kijker moet zich
betrokken voelen met het
onderwerp.

10. fotografie is
schrijven met licht
Wanneer er geen licht is
kunnen we niet fotograferen.
Er zijn verschillende soorten
licht die mee de sfeer aan een
beeld bepalen.
Bij gemis aan licht kunnen we
zelf licht bij brengen vb; door
lampen bij te plaatsen, door te
flitsen…

11. Natuurlijk licht
De zon. Of het aanwezige licht.

structuur, de vorm,
het perspectief…
Zij bepalen mee of de inhoud
interessant wordt voorgebracht.
Compositie moet het beeld
sterker maken en de inhoud
ondersteunen

25. TECHNIEK IS KEY MAAR
MAAKT GEEN GOEIE
FOTO.
Technisch wil je de juiste soort
film gebruiken, het licht juist
zetten en meten, de juiste keuze
van het objectief, de juiste
sluitertijd, en diafragma. Alles
in functie van het eindresultaat.
Maar enkel techniek maakt geen
goeie foto. Je hebt ook de
andere elementen nodig: licht,

26. Aperture.
Of diafragma.
Bepaalt de scherpte-diepte van
een beeld.
Maakt dat een beeld helemaal
scherp is, of slechts een deel
scherp.
Algemeen: lage waarde
betekent weinig scherpte-
diepte. (vb 2.8 of 4)
hoge waarde betekent veel
scherpte-diepte (vb. 16 of 22)

29. SPEED.
Of sluitersnelheid.
Hoe lang de sluiter open staat.
Snelle ‘klik’ of ‘kliiiiiiik’
Maakt dat een foto ‘bewogen
is’ (trage sluitertijd) of net iets
‘bevriest’.
Algemeen: via snelheid kan je
dynamiek brengen in je foto,
door bewegende elementen.
1/60 is vaak een
standaardwaarde om zelf niet te
bewegen en een volledig
onscherp beeld te maken.

32. ISO.
Of gevoeligheid.
Hoe hoger de ISO waarde, hoe
meer je kan fotograferen in
donkere locaties met natuurlijk
licht.
Hogere ISO-waarden zorgen
voor meer ‘korrel’.
Lagere ISO-waarden zorgen
voor fijnere korrel en scherper
beeld.
Principe: kies steeds de laagst
mogelijke ISO-waarde.

33. LENS.
Of objectief.
Je hebt breedhoeklenzen of
telelenzen.
Breedhoek: alles onder 35mm
Telelenzen: alles boven 50mm
Standaardlens: 35 of 50mm
Algemeen:
Breedhoek is ideaal voor
landschapsfotografie. 85mm
perfect voor portretten
