Requests

Mokhtar-saghafi@fa.wikinews

Not done - CU data on those users will be stale by now (and would've already been when this was requested. -Barras talk 15:57, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
It was not convincing. many requests were done for fawiki after submitting this and before your reply. Mjbmr (discussioncontribs) 16:24, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
As you will surely have noticed, I rarely take care of requests here, actually only when no one else takes care of those requests. However, that doesn't change the fact that the data will be stale and any CU would be pointless. -Barras talk 16:32, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
So you skipped this request to give me this reason. Mjbmr (discussioncontribs) 16:39, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
You never reply any messages in IRC tho. BTW this user has left enough evidences by cross-wiki contributing. Mjbmr (discussioncontribs) 16:43, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
I don't always watch my IRC bouncers, so I don't always notice messages there. Anyway, I don't have to reply there anyway, especially when things are being discussed on-wiki. That request is for fa.wn, where the data is stale. We don't usually run checks on maybe uk.wq for stuff that is absolutely not related to this wiki but to a totally different wiki. -Barras talk 17:10, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
OK. Mjbmr (discussioncontribs) 17:26, 28 December 2014 (UTC)

RareBread687@en.wikiquote

Under the circumstances; it would be better to notify WMF Legal (legal(_AT_)wikimedia.org) to follow the matter up instead of encouraging a steward to do so. They would defer anyway so might as well cut out a middle man. John F. Lewis (talk) 17:03, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
Also emergency(_AT_)wikimedia.org. See en:WP:VIOLENCE. --Glaisher (talk) 17:05, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
I don't consider this an emergency, as I have no reason to believe that the editor making the threats has an immediate ability to carry them out. This is, however, criminal and unacceptable behavior. Per John F. Lewis, I have emailed the Foundation. Cheers! BD2412 T 17:20, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
Not done this is outside the purview and scope of the stewards, and within the purview of the Legal department of the Wikimedia foundation, reachable from LCA, but with which I believe the requesting user is already in contact. Snowolf How can I help? 03:00, 21 December 2014 (UTC)

Multiple accounts@wikidata

Firstly, Tamawashi's CheckUser data is stale, and secondly, CheckUser won't connect IP addresses to accounts.--Jasper Deng (talk) 22:48, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
Doing... Trijnsteltalk 13:39, 24 December 2014 (UTC)
Tamawashi is indeed Stale. Andrea Shan and Frank Robertson are  Confirmed. It's very Likely Likely that Perfektinski, John B. Sullivan, Vladimir Gribochev, Tajistan and Derianus are related too. Derianus and Vladimir Gribochev are already blocked on the English Wikipedia as socks of the long-term sockpuppeteer Tobias Conradi, see the report. I've informed the English Wikipedia checkusers and arranged some IP blocks on Wikidata. Thanks for the report! Trijnsteltalk 17:46, 24 December 2014 (UTC)

اوگتای قاآن@fa.wikipedia.org

Maybe I'm missing something, but User:Pryamo seems to have no edits, no logs, no abuse logs or deleted contributions on fawikivoyage, so I'm unsure why they're even blocked. The IP seems to be greeting somebody in their only edit. User:اوگتای قاآن seems to have made a personal attack in their only edit, tho from what it looks on google translate, nothing that unusual that got revdeleted (including even the user's username, which I do not believe was offensive, was it? The last user seems to be happily editing fawikivoyage and has been granted patroller and autopatroller permissions. I don't see what the grounds for a check are here. I do not see what the connection is. I also note that you claim above that this is obvious sockpuppetry (by bringing up en:WP:DUCK), if that is the case, please block as needed, we do not perform checks if the connection is so obvious as to not require a check to be confirmed. I am marking this as not done but do feel free to bring up additional evidence if you believe that there is actually a connection that has not been shown here. i,m sory main wiki is fa.wiki , i false add fa.voy , thanks --Florence (talk) 12:33, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

Nocan@meta.wikimedia.org

Meta has its own local CU's. Requests should be made at Meta:Requests for CheckUser information. Ping : @Trijnstel: or @Billinghurst:--Shanmugamp7 (talk) 15:52, 27 December 2014 (UTC)
Thanks a lot. A seperate Request has been filed at Meta:Requests for CheckUser information Mariano Anto Bruno Mascarenhas (talk) 17:50, 27 December 2014 (UTC)
"Locally handled" on the page for meta requests only. -Barras talk 21:05, 27 December 2014 (UTC)

Cronenberg@da.wikiquote

It looks like a duck to me, however, since it's about an ongoing RfA, I've run the check anyway. From technical point of view it's very Likely Likely that those are the same person. The edits and that both accounts are newly created only to oppose an RfA (with no edits globally before) and the fact that they've the same user information makes it pretty clear, despite using different IPs. -Barras talk 19:26, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the help. --Simeondahl (talk) 20:07, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
I can in the name of truth prove that my user account represents me and Cronenberg represents a friend of mine. So if Simeondahl agree a physical meeting somewhere in Denmark, he will be able to get this friend confirmed by personal inspection. Thus, there is certainly no question of a so-called duck, but two legitimate user accounts based on two different IP addresses. --Scavenius (talk) 15:24, 31 December 2014 (UTC)
