Global bot status for RobokoBot

Status:    Done

Hi there, RobokoBot has over 233k edits globally since January 2015 and has the local flag on frwiki, frwiktionary, enwiktionary and jawiktionary. I'd like the global bot flag to maintain interlanguage links on other Wiktionaries. Thank you. --Thibaut120094 (talk) 02:43, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

I do not think that the spirit of the policy was that, judging on past requests, and think on "several" on much more projects. However since interwiki links are now reduced to wiktionaries, I don't have a strong opinion in this. It'd be good however if the bot owner could do a test run to see how the bot works. —MarcoAurelio 08:52, 16 September 2016 (UTC)

As I've said above, I have no strong opinion here. IMHO this fails the "several wikis" clause, but the circumnstances of the policy have changed a lot since too. —MarcoAurelio 11:29, 10 October 2016 (UTC)

Hi Thibaut120094, regardless of the global bot flag you will need the local bot flag in dewikt, hewikt, hiwikt, hrwikt, iswikt, itwikt, liwikt, mrwikt, plwikt, rowikt and ruwikt because these Wiktionaries are not in the Wikiset for global bots. Try to request for the local bot flag in all these Wiktionaries. And then make also edits with your bot in these Wiktionaries. After a while the question of "several wikis" has settled.
