Global bot status requests

Global bot policy on kbdwikipedia

Please add kbdwiki to global bot wikiset (and change the templates on meta) as permitted by local bot policy which is approved by local community per vote(5:0):
There is already a request on User talk:Pathoschild#Global bot policy in kbd.wikipedia, but Pathoschild is inactive at the moment.

Removal of global bot status

Removal of global bot status for Interwicket

This global bot and his owner are inactive for months. I haven't find something in the bot policy which explicitly says GB status can be removed due to inactivity. But it seems to be really necessary that stewards removed bot status on projects where they have granted access without the approval of the local community. If this request can't be done, please let me know how to propose a change in bot policy. Thanks by advance -- Quentinv57 (talk) 16:13, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

There was a discussion here, which ended in the removal of a few global bots. Could you notify the user about this request? If he doesn't answer we could remove the right in a couple days. -- Màñü飆¹5 talk [es] 04:53, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Okay, see there. Regarding his talk page, I'm not sure he will answer quickly... -- Quentinv57 (talk) 13:42, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Quickness is not required - one week is. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 00:04, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Yes, I understand it. And what about the removal of its local bot status ? I speak about those automatically aproved by stewards on projects with no active 'crats. Because if stewards can't remove them, nobody will never do it... -- Quentinv57 (talk) 11:46, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Good point. Those should go as well, IMO, simply as a technical matter. But this should be discussed some more. --Daniel Mayer (mav) 00:39, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
Though would be difficult to track where is flagged by automatic approval and where was done by either a local bureacurat or local vote + flagged by steward. -- Màñü飆¹5 talk [es] 21:25, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
If you want to, I can give you a list of projects where stewards have granted bot access to Interwicket. Status has been granted by local 'crats on other projects, so that's their work to revoke it. -- Quentinv57 (talk) 09:00, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
Removed global flag. For the local flags would be amazing to have that list, but (in my opinion) is better to discuss that part first, as Mav said, since the last discussion only had in scope the global flag. Cheers. -- Màñü飆¹5 talk [es] 07:05, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

What's the point of this request. The local bureaucrat already flagged the bot. No need to make here a request. (Btw, marked as not done) -Barras 09:04, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Good luck ;) -- Quentinv57 (talk) 20:08, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

All done, except ta.wiktionary, which has an active crat. Probably better to make a request locally there. Jafeluv 20:33, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Depends on what you consider inactive but for pathos tool, it is clearly not. Anyway, I will request it locally ;). Thanks -- Quentinv57 (talk) 15:04, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
