Du flyttade nyligen Maríuerla (fugl) till Maríuerla. Alla interwikilänkarna för fågelarten Motacilla alba går dock fortfarande till Maríuerla (fugl). Jag försökte ändra namnet på den isländska länken i wikidataobjektet d:Q25399, men det gick inte. Sidan Maríuerla har nämligen sitt eget wikidataobjekt, d:Q16422101. Där beskrivs denna sida som en dab (en förgreningssida, disambiguation page). Jag antar att denna dab länkade till dels den gamla Maríuerla (fugl) och dels till Maríuerla (nafn). Vet du vad som hände med denna dab? Finns den kvar under ett annat namn, och varför är i så fall inte denna dab det som Q16422101 länkar till?

(Detta är för övrigt ett exempel på att wikidata visst tillåter iwlänkning av omdirigeringssidor (redirects), åtminstone i praktiken.)

Hm, det är märkligt. Förgreningssidan hade bara 2 grejer, så jeg raderade den och flyttade maríuerla (fugl) der. Jag har nu lösat problemet med at skapa förgreningssidan igen her. Jag vet inte riktigt vad som händer bakom kulisserna (behind the scene) när wikidata uppdateras. Som du såg när du rättade länkarna i Q25399 och Q16422101 är åtminstone det som syns sidnamnet, alltså snarast page_title. Min erfarenhet är att när jag ändrar ett sidnamn i någon wikipedia, så ändras motsvarande sidnamn i wikidataobjektet inte omedelbart men rätt fort; men jag är inte säker på om det beror på en automatisk koppling till page_id, eller görs av någon flitig bot. I det här fallet kanske wikimediamjukvaran eller boten lurades av att du i en följd både raderade en sida och bytte namn på en annan sida till det nu plötsligt lediga sidnamnet - innan mjukvaran eller boten hunnit reagera.

Jag arbetar ibland litet med kategorisering och interwikilänkning. Min erfarenhet är att man oftast inte behöver gå till wikidata för att göra ändringar, men att det behövs ibland. Jag brukar hålla ögonen på interwikilänkningen ("Tungumálum" - är detta en lokativistisk användning av dativ av tungumál?). Om den inte ser ut som jag väntat mig, så brukar jag se efter hur det konkret ser ut på wikidatasidan, och om det är något jag behöver ändra där också. Litur á taxobox

Það virðist eitthvað hökt í að litir á taxobox séu sjálfkrafa með réttum lit. Gætir þú litið á það (t.d. Hjartagrasbálkur og allt sem er undir honum). Einnig væri hægt að leyfa "iucn" vera í hástöfum þegar það er sett í "status_ref". Svarði2 (spjall) 23. júní 2019 kl. 18:20 (UTC)

Komið með litina, hafði slökkt á þeim vegna einhverrar stórundarlegrar villu á síðum eins og Lækjagambri, var að komast að því að villan kom frá Snið:Taxobox colour. Hello Þjarkur. I have seen that you have hastily reverted my edits on the relative page here (and even blocked my access to the page) and on Wikipedia in other languages. I am really sorry that you have misunderstood my intentions, and I would have preferred to have a civil discussion to explain my motivations. My idea was to improve the quality of the articles, not to damage them. The article in its current state covers only the Zuism of Iceland, not that in other countries, notably Mardukite Zuism. I have put some effort in the research and creation of the article, here and in other languages. Most of the versions are in correct grammar and form, especially French, Portuguese, Spanish, German and Russian. Hi. Joshua Free is not a reliable source as he is self-published. If these other practices were noteworthy enough to be mentioned in an encyclopedia then reliable sources would have covered them in some detail – something which I could not verify. Reliable sources don't refer to these as movements that are related to each other or refer to them as Zuism. Reliable sources have not covered Mardukite Zuism at all. Much of the backstory of certain movements is made up, so we would have to wait until secondary sources summarize them. Google Translate is far from being sufficiently good to use for writing articles, basing an article on it is disruptive since someone else will have to rewrite it from scratch. I understand. No, I'm not close to Joshua Free. I have just read his books in 2020 and took an interest in his doctrines, but I am not part of the movement so I have no conflict of interest. Thinking Free's doctrines to be valuable, I thought they deserved to be mentioned in the articles. My interest is just personal and I have expanded the articles for the sake of cultural information rather than for promoting any author or group. How we will see unregistered users

Hi!

You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.

When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.

Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.

Need your input on a policy impacting gadgets and UserJS

Dear interface administrator,

This is Samuel from the Security team and I hope my message finds you well.

There is an ongoing discussion on a proposed policy governing the use of external resources in gadgets and UserJS. The proposed Third-party resources policy aims at making the UserJS and Gadgets landscape a bit safer by encouraging best practices around external resources. After an initial non-public conversation with a small number of interface admins and staff, we've launched a much larger, public consultation to get a wider pool of feedback for improving the policy proposal. Based on the ideas received so far, the proposed policy now includes some of the risks related to user scripts and gadgets loading third-party resources, best practices for gadgets and UserJS developers, and exemptions requirements such as code transparency and inspectability.

As an interface administrator, your feedback and suggestions are warmly welcome until July 17, 2023 on the policy talk page.
