With the GMAT/GRE offered online, it's a good time to take it I hear. What's your background?

True. I'm waiting to read experiences with the online GMAT before I sign up.

Does anyone know what time applications typically open up?

From my understanding, Summer 2020 but I'm not sure which month exactly.

quick bump on the thread, looks like there is a webinar for prospects for the upcoming class on June 9th at 12pm EST as well as a GMAT coaching session for prospects on June 17th at 8pm EST

Did anyone on the call notice they said that those with 2 years of experience who are accepted is “by exception and not the rule.”

Yeah i thought that was weird too. 2 years of experience applying to the program would put them at 4 years of experience at matriculation which is average.

Made it seem like you need to have stellar stats to get admitted to the program with 2 years experience.

Also found it weird how they aren’t being too accommodating for test scores despite covid where your application won’t be considered without an official

For those who were unable to attend the call, the application will open mid-July.

Round 1 = Aug 30th
Round 2 = Sep 30th
Round 3 = Oct 30th

Official GRE/GMAT scores are needed by Jan 15th 2021.

Hey y'all! Prepping for GMAT and will most likely apply R2-R3. Best of luck when apps open up.

I’m honestly taken aback by the fact that they are not being flexible or accommodating with these tests dates/ options. I live in the middle of a major city, don’t have a car and most of the testing centers around here are located on the outskirts. I am essentially risking it by jumping in a train or uber just to have a shot at this program...I understand you can take the exam at home but I’ve heard so many terrible experiences about it that it’s putting me off. I’m planning on taking the GRE and have been studying for quite some time now

Confused by the fine print concerning GMAT/GRE scores. Is the 1/15 deadline specifically for retake submissions? Because it seems like you can't submit an application without an official score...

That's the feeling I got too. I believe you have to submit an official score to be accepted, but your score needs to be GMAT/GRE "final" by January 2021 ... I think. To be considered "final" I think you need a 650+ GMAT. Not sure about the GRE score.

How are y’all approaching the recommendation part of the application? Right now I’m not comfortable letting my boss know that I’ll be pursuing an MBA in 2 years.

Do you have a mentor/lead you could ask? That's the route I went.

I do! Just wasn't sure if that would hurt my app. Are you familiar with what the recommendation format entails? Are they just short answers or actual essays? Would like to prep my recommender when I approach her about it.

Ah, okay. I have no idea, but I think it's just a few questions that are to answered. I assume those questions will address work ethic, leadership potential, motivation/drive, etc. I prepped my person by giving them a high-level overview of MLT, going over my resume, and talking about my aspirations. Kind of highlighted what (I think) MLT wants to see.
