First, do your own research, get a GMAT score then approach any consultant. Without GMAT score don't approach any consultant.

Hey Vedant!

I suggest you approach GMATWHIZ team and speak with Piyush Beriwala. I will DM you his number. He is a very genuine person. He helped me get in 6 schools. The top ones being Babson College (#1 in entrepreneurship), USA and University of British Columbia Sauder B school , Canada when i have just 630 GMAT score.

Also, just yesterday, one of his students got in UCLA and she just applied to that one school.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Which MBA Admission consultant to choose in India? [#permalink]
I have wanted to apply to universities abroad for quite some time but did not know the procedure and was not sure where to start from. Someone suggested that I should start by looking at an expert who understands the study abroad market.

I went ahead and searched for MBA consultants in India and I found way too many options on the internet. I search through options like Redpen, MBA crystal ball,
Aringo, Admit Expert, and many more. I went through all of their websites to understand the process and pricing.

While I was going through the processes that these consultancies follow, Admit Expert, stood out for me as they had a clear 3 stage process. In all these stages they provide different consultants and mentors to perfect your application.

They have a very concise and straightforward process with the most genuine consultants working with them. Since the start, they made it very clear that they do not have any partner universities and so they would never force you to apply to any particular college which is done by most consultants.

I would recommend Admit Expert to anyone applying for MBA abroad. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

Gmat Score: 710
Applied to: IIM A/B/C and ISB
Conversion Rate: 100%

I worked with Arvind from Dream School Admit as my consultant due to 2 main reasons:
1. He had a very comforting and encouraging tone. Something I needed in the whole application process since I was already stressed out.
2. A good number of successful women candidate testimonials.

My thoughts and ideas for the essays were all over the place. Based on my research, I had created a few template goals and answers in my mind. However, Arvind helped me understand my thoughts better and carve out personal, structured and clear responses. I was also worried that a consultant would dilute the essence of my story and make the applications very generic. However, all the edits and changes that Arvind suggested incorporated my particular brand and enhanced it, never did he change or mask it.

Overall, if you’re looking for a friendly, chill and focused consultant, Arvind from Dream School Admit is the way to go.

Just a brotherly tip- Don't go on spending all your fortunes on the consulting services. Quite frankly they do nothing but give very generic advice. We provide better advice on GMAT Club forum

Hi,

Just wondering why you are offering MBA consulting services if the consultant tribe gives generic advice and offers no advantage at all?

Moreover, its not wise to generalize that consultants give generic advice. You are misleading applicants by doing so. Most of us have a wealth of knowledge having been in the profession for decades and are working in this field with the genuine purpose of helping applicants achieve their MBA dreams. Saying that we add no value is presumptuous and unsubstantiated.

I worked with Arvind from Dream School Admit and I'd highly recommend him. In 2022, just a day after taking the GMAT, I reached out to Arvind. My score fell far below what I needed to apply to any M7 or T15 schools. From our initial call, Arvind's candid yet helpful tone, combined with his confidence, convinced me he was the perfect consultant for my applications, even though I had consulted over a dozen others.

He strongly advised me to retake the GMAT, and I followed his guidance. Finally, in 2023, after retaking the test, I officially signed up with Arvind. With Arvind guiding me through every step, the MBA application process became remarkably smooth. He helped refine my story in a way that surpassed the expertise of anyone else I had encountered. His work style is impeccable.

Arvind's confidence in my profile exceeded even my own. This led him to suggest applying to prestigious schools like MIT Sloan and Chicago Booth. Thanks to his effective strategies, I secured interviews at 8 out of 9 schools. Ultimately, I received acceptance offers from 3 schools (Ross, Tuck, and Darden). Ross even awarded me an 80k scholarship, the perfect finishing touch. Five other schools waitlisted me, leaving the possibility of further acceptances open.

Arvind's role has transcended that of a mere applications consultant; he has become a trusted advisor for life. I can confidently approach him with any career or life questions, knowing he will always provide the best possible advice.

The MBA application process can feel overwhelming, especially for someone like me, who belongs to a group of applicants that's overrepresented. But thanks to "Dream School Admit" and Arvind, I received an acceptance from NYU Stern, fulfilling my dream of studying in New York City and making the process memorable. I also received an offer from USC Marshall with an $80k scholarship, giving me options to consider based on my financial needs.

Initially, I explored various options and felt confused about choosing the right consultant. Then I found Arvind, and immediately felt a connection with him and his approach to presenting my profile. Despite being ready to finalize him as my consultant, Arvind, being a true gentleman, introduced me to a couple of his previous clients so I could get honest feedback about working with him. His experience and understanding of each school's expectations, as well as which school would suit my profile best, are unparalleled. We went through multiple revisions until we were both satisfied with how my story was portrayed. Arvind, acting as a mentor, helped me not only define my goals for the applications but also provided clarity on what I truly wanted to pursue post-MBA.

I never imagined applying to some of the top-tier universities, but with Arvind's commitment and professionalism , I received interview invitations from 7 out of 8 schools I applied to. Despite initial rejections, Arvind remained supportive like a friend and believed in our efforts. I recall him being happier than me and celebrating when I was accepted to NYU Stern. If you're seeking someone who is always available, adept at identifying weaknesses in your application and strengthening them, and genuinely invested in your success as a mentor, then Arvind and Dream School Admit are the right choice for you.

When it comes to choosing an MBA admission consultant in India, it's essential to consider several factors. Jamboree, Crackverbal, and Leverage Edu are reputable names in the field, each with its strengths. Jamboree is known for its comprehensive approach and experienced counselors. Crackverbal excels in personalized coaching and GMAT preparation. Leverage Edu stands out for its innovative technology-driven solutions and mentorship programs. My personal opinion leans towards Leverage Edu due to its modern approach and emphasis on personalized guidance. Their use of technology and mentorship programs can provide tailored support, helping applicants stand out in the competitive MBA admissions landscape. However, it's crucial to research and assess each consultant's offerings to determine which aligns best with your needs and preferences.

Re: Which MBA Admission consultant to choose in India? [#permalink]
I started working with Arvind from Dream School Admit because of our first call. He was honest about my chances, my strengths and weaknesses, and which universities would be the right choices. His experience working with a multitude of candidates was evident as we narrowed down the target colleges for Round 1. His clear and transparent approach made me trust him with my future. I had spoken to tens of consultants, but the energy Arvind brought was unparalleled.

The first school we worked on was Kellogg, a highly selective business school. I still remember that we spent a considerable amount of time on the Kellogg application. The brainstorming session we had before working on the essays helped me organize my thoughts and finalize the storyline. After our brainstorming session, I crafted the essay and submitted it for his review. The first time I read the essay he had edited, I got goosebumps looking at the way he modified my narrative. He added feelings and emotions to a raw story. Looking back, I am really surprised by the story we finally used in my essay. I would not have even thought of it. He understood what was unique about my experiences and used that to push me to think in the right direction. Many times, I felt that there was no flow in the first draft of the essays I wrote, but after Arvind had edited them, they looked impeccable. Another aspect of my experience that stands out was Arvind’s prompt replies throughout the process, which enabled us to submit all the applications on time.

In total, I took his help for six schools and received acceptances from four: Kellogg, Haas ($50K scholarship), Stern ($50K scholarship), and Anderson ($60K scholarship).

I've finally decided to take Kellogg and I can't wait to begin my journey at an M7 school. I am grateful to Arvind for his invaluable support and guidance, which have been instrumental in achieving this milestone in my academic and professional journey. I am sure I will keep reaching out to him for his guidance throughout my career.
