What is the value of \(\frac{1}{2}\sqrt{21+12√3}-√3\) ?

(A) \(\frac{1}{2}\)

(B) \(\frac{2}{3}\)

(C) \(\frac{3}{2}\)

(D) \(\frac{6}{7}\)

(E) \(\frac{7}{4}\)

Easy way:
\(=\frac{1}{2}\sqrt{21+12√3}-√3\)
\(=\frac{1}{2}\sqrt{9+12√3+12}-√3\)
\(=\frac{1}{2}\sqrt{(3)^2+2*3*2√3+(2√3)^2}-√3\)
\(=\frac{1}{2} \sqrt{(3+2√3)^2}-√3\)
\(=\frac{1}{2} (3+2√3)-√3\)
\(=\frac{(3+2√3-2√3)}{2}\)
\(=\frac{3}{2}\)
