Calculator or any aid for calculation(other than your brain) is NOT allowed in Quant and Verbal section of GMAT not sure about IR!

The person above is actually incorrect. You will be provided a calculator which will be provided on the computer during the IR section. You will not be able to use a calculator in any other section of the GMAT.

No calculator allowed for the normal Quant section of the exam. But on the new IR section (12 questions), there will be an on screen calculator that you can access. It will not, however, be available for the PS and DS sections.
