Donald McNicol Sutherland (Saint John, Brunswick Berria, Kanada, 1935eko uztailaren 17a – Miami, Florida, 2024ko ekainaren 20a) aktorea izan zen. Ospetsua da gerrako eta beldurrezko hainbat film famatutan parte hartu zuelako 1960ko hamarkadan eta 1970eko hamarkadan. Eskoziar jatorriko familia batean jaio zen. Haren semeetako bat Kiefer Sutherland aktore eta zuzendaria da.

Donald Sutherland New Brunswicken sortu zen, eta aktore izan baino lehen irrati bateko albistegietako esatari aritu zen. Ondoren, 1957an, Kanada utzi eta Londresera jo zuen, Musika eta Arte Dramatikoen akademian estudiatzearren. Horrek Erresuma Batuko telebista eta zinemako ateak zabaldu zizkion.
