License tagging for File:Noanaesthesia.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Noanaesthesia.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:05, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Noanaesthesia.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Noanaesthesia.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Doningtonlive19831987.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Doningtonlive19831987.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 02:39, 12 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Recreation of deleted material

Thanks As you can see from my recent contributions (e.g. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Last Rites (Megadeth EP)), I'm on this one. Thanks. I hope this user will slow down and take the time to read the policies and guidelines instead of charging ahead ignoring them. I know I've had my scrapes with the rules before, but I straightened up and flew right and I actually like working on Wikipedia. He could, too if he'd give it a shot. Thanks for the heads-up. —Justin (koavf)TCM20:13, 26 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

re: Hook in Mouth

Hmm, it seems that you were correct concerning Hook in Mouth as a single. I re-checked my references, and it seems that SFSGSW only had 4 singles. So I altered Hook in Mouth back into a song. Thanks for the heads up!

Also, Rust in Peace has been completely re-written for it to meet GA quality. I'm currently proof-reading it thoroughly but it could use a peer review, if you have the time. Bruce Campbell (talk) 01:17, 30 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I fixed the quote issue. Thank you! Bruce Campbell (talk) 02:11, 30 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

December 2010

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Anthrax (band), without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered vandalism. Thank you. MetalBrasil (talk) 18:20, 22 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I was reverting Your unsourced changes. Please practice what you preach. --L1A1 FAL (talk) 20:01, 22 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Re:Psychopathy Red redirect

The reason why "Psychopathy Red" was redirected is because it did not meet WP:NSONGS. The same goes for all other uncreated Slayer song articles. PLUS wouldn't you love to see Slayer become a good topic??? The progress is currently 24 out of 29 articles GA or higher (not including the recent addition of "Hate Worldwide"). I'm currently working on it (see here). You can ALSO see the progress of GT below:

But anyways, always assure that your articles meet the WP:NSONGS guidelines. CrowzRSA 03:36, 30 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Well, you could merge it to the singles section of World Painted Blood, since that section is already short. But if you do, make sure you don't add anything redundant… CrowzRSA 03:56, 30 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

re: Edit

My edit had a clear edit summary. And a valid one. Please leave your personal opinions out before reverting and issuing useless templates. Wikipedia is based on WP:V. Not your opinion. Whitesnake have no glam metal in the audio catalogue. One fashion faux pas in one music video does not warrant a label which is intended to describe musical style. Not choice of trouser fabric. Hope that clears things up for you. 198.164.219.128 (talk) 05:21, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your edits are based on your opinions. Its commonly associated with glam metal, like it or not. I personally could give a rat's behind, either way. I was simply reverting unsourced changes. Your opinion means nothing, unless you can source it, which you have not done. And you need to stop clearing your talk page whenever anyone says something you disagree with--L1A1 FAL (talk) 05:29, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Demo albums

WP:MUSIC Demos can be notable, but generally aren't. They are basically subject to the same criteria as any other topic: are there reliable, third-party sources that cover it? —Justin (koavf)TCM23:16, 16 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Redirect Cowboys from Hell: The Demos should probably be redirected and if any useful material can be found to cite, then information about this demo album can be incorporated into Cowboys from Hell. If sources can't be found, then the redirect can be deleted as well. I say go for it. —Justin (koavf)TCM00:08, 18 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks!

Thanks for reviewing my article on Nacer Khemir. The Al-Ahram links are actually dead temporarily because it's an Egyptian site and, well, someone turned the Internet off in Egypt last week... ! It didn't even occur to me that they would be down. I appreciate you taking the banner off anyway! Thanks, -- Zhuravlei (talk) 02:35, 2 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Emotional.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
