If there is an issue with one of your images, either the user will notify you on your talk of their concern, or they will tag it for deletion, and it will be deleted no less than a week from tagging (unless it is, for example, a blatant copyvio). Therefore there is nothing to worry about -- if someone is going to delete your image, you will have time to fix it first. :) — neuro^{(talk)(review)} 20:37, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I am going to remove the external link that you added to Black Sabbath. If you read #11 of the external links to avoid fansites should be avoided. I am very familiar with the site you linked and can argue that it does meet the exception of being by a "recognised authority" but this article is up for review for good article status and I don't want to jeopardise it. Hello. I just made a new resize of the fair use resize you did of the File:Foot of the Mountain Album.jpg image, because it seems like you did the resize with a low quality resizeing method. Yes, moving the locations list to another place and linking it is probably the best solution. WP:NOTDIR is a pretty clear and straightforward policy, and a full list of all stores is a clear violation if it. I'm going to remove it immediately, while you can grab it from the history if you want to preserve it elsewhere. But, it may be that it is already copied to Wikipedia from elsewhere, and it may not need to be preserved. I can tell from the messages left on your talk page that you've had more than enough warnings considering improper image use- I advise you are very, very careful from now on, as this is something Wikipedia takes very seriously. If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

I'm afraid the same applies to File:Pallas2.jpg. For both of these, the OTRS releases were insufficient, the persons who wrote OTRS were notified of the problems, and they have not responded within quite a long time. --Moonriddengirl ^(talk) 01:21, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Noting that there have been other issues with OTRS releases, I'm wondering if when you request permission you point the copyright owners to Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries. This is a very handy document; if they follow it, there will be no problems. It's possible that you are pointing them to it, but they aren't following it. Thanks for your note. Are these subsequent e-mails? I've read the releases that both of these people sent, and I'm afraid that neither one of them was usable. (Just want to add while I'm here: I don't doubt that the artists said it was okay. You're clearly trying to do things the right way. The problem is just that these guys haven't sent in a legally usable release.
