Line 25: WMRX History For years, WMRX was branded as "Unforgettable" airing a satellite fed Adult Standards format from 1995 through 2013. In Jan of 2014, "Unforgettable" 97-7 and 1490, became branded as "Sunny 97-7" with a format change to a "Soft" ~~Classic Hits~~Gold format. By 2017, competitor WHNN had changed format to AC, and the WMRX/WMPX shifted to mainstream Classic Hits, while retaining the Sunny brand, with a new logo. In 2019, WMRX broke simulcast with WMPX, as WMPX added 107-7 repeater for 1490 and became Country Gold "107-7 The Highway" featuring a 90's based Classic Country format. The station is branded as "Country's Greatest Hits."
