While I understand that the page (and Union City HS) may be deleted, if you look back through my history, I am systematically going through every high school in Indiana and either updating it or doing routine page maintenance. I personally believe it's up to the students / faculty / citizens of that area to fill in the information for that school, as they're more familiar with it. There should be a suitable timeframe given before nominating something for deletion especially as the article was made in good-faith - to include an Infobox.ZCash1104 (talk) 12:53, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@JMWt: Hey good to know. I just checked out the School Outcomes page you put on there. Just noting that I do put the school's website on each page created, so hopefully that is at least one independent article to verify its existence. @ZCash1104: you may need to think a bit clearer about what an "independent secondary source" means, because (fairly obviously, when you think about it), a website written by the school is not independent or secondary as per WP:RS. Keep - Secondary schools have long been kept on bare existence rather than GNG. This is due to Wikipedia's gazetteer function. Schools are considered features of the landscape, much like roads and settlements. Indeed, the US Government recognizes this school as such: U.S. Geological Survey Geographic Names Information System: Randolph Southern Junior-Senior High School. It is listed in the NCES database. And finally, it is listed here on the Indiana High School Athletic Association website. Although, contrary to the opinion expressed above, all that is needed is the school's website to prove existence. It exists. We will have an article on it.
