kos ogrličar Opis vrste D.t. 24–27 cm. Rasprostranjen je u visokoplaninskim delovima Alpa, Dinarida, Karpata, Pirineja, Apenina, balkanskih planina, Tatri, Kavkaza, kao i na severu Britanije i Skandinavije. Tokom seobe i lutanja sreće se i u drugim, nizijskim delovima Evrope. Staništa su mu žbunaste zajednice bora krivulja i kleke iznad gornje šumske granice, kao i rubovi visokoplaninskih četinarskih šuma. Gnezda gradi u žbunju. Hrani se glistama, insektima i drugim beskičmenjacima, a jede i bobičaste plodove. Evropska populacija je stabilna. U Srbiji se na malom broju visokoplaninskih masiva gnezdi stabilnih 1.300–2.300 parova (Puzović et al 2009).
