Welcome[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. To find out how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means, and on Notability (organizations and companies) for more detail. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:

A tag has been placed on Agresso Business World, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Agresso Business World and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JohnCD (talk) 13:01, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

May 2008[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Agresso Business World. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. ukexpat (talk) 13:30, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Agresso Business World requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Accounting4Taste:talk 14:03, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm gathering that you haven't actually bothered to read any of the links suggested above such as WP:Your first article, or else you would be aware of why the material you keep re-posting has been repeatedly deleted. Please, before you go further, read the guides for submission linked in the previous sentence and the pages at WP:CORP to learn why your submissions have been deleted as inappropriate. Your latest one is apparently a copyright violation -- see the policy at WP:COPYRIGHT for details -- and will have to be immediately deleted too. If you have any questions about Wikipedia policy, you can leave me a note. Accounting4Taste:talk 14:27, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Agresso Business World, you will be blocked from editing. ukexpat (talk) 18:47, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
