Hi Arconning, since you reviewed the above article for GA, I should let you know I have voiced concerns about BLP issues in the article on its talk page here (permalink). Cheers, Baffle☿gab 02:03, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Baffle gab1978 I'm confused, they are sourced? "In May 1999, Johnson was sentenced for his participation in an attack on a protected inmate in Barwon Prison, for which he received a 20-month prison sentence. In September the following year, Johnson was tried for an attack on contract killer Gregory Brazel in Barwon Prison's Acacia unit." is cited to reference 2 and 5, and they do clearly contain information regarding the statement? Is it a problem that it's sourced at the end of the paragraph rather than every statement? Arconning (talk) 03:01, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Baffle gab1978 Oh I've seen the other comments, and I have to apologize as I did not know that was part of the criteria, I will try to do my best in the future to avoid these other mistakes again regarding the primary sources. Arconning (talk) 03:06, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, thanks for dealing with the article. I don't usually "police" GAs but since I was copy-editing it, I though it best to raise my concerns. In a BLP, every point made should have a citation because unsourced content can easily be added. My major concern though was the use of court documents in the article, which the BLP policy forbids. I did check the document about his murder trial, which the article does agree with, but there should be a secondary source. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 21:25, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
