What part of "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it." don't you understand? (I quote directly from the boilerplate text on Wikipedia's edit screen.) 121a0012 06:57, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have neither particular right nor privilege to screw up others person’s work. —People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. 121a0012 01:45, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why Wiki[edit]

Hi. Many people get to the point you just described. I've seen "you can have the article" and "there is no reason any longer for me to be on Wikipedia" and "I thought I did a great job and worked very hard on Wikipedia", etc. But, to follow their example is to give in to the enemy, is it not?

Vandal suspect[edit]

I note lymanschool's articles are still on there. I also note the discussion page of the user in question contains a long list of complaints about deleted articles. It seems to be turning out as I suspected: we are really dealing with an internal vandal here. What better way to destroy a system than from within? Let's see how the case develops.Dave 16:03, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Game-playing mode[edit]

I just typed a long reply I don't have time to repeat. When I tried to save it was all lost somehow. I suspect chicanery but don't know enough about it. The gist of it was, I agree now, this is vendetta time. But, I view it more as a kid's game. Some people get delight out of getting others upset. Dick is being teased here and so to some degree am I. People want to see a clock-fight, a bullfight, they want set dogs on each other and bait bears, they want a good gladiator show and we seem to be giving it to them. Eventually I think they will get bored and go away and we will get back to normal. It seems to me it is a kind of Jekyll and Hyde thing; people who ought to know better depart from adulthood to indulge in childish games anonymously. If we knew who they were we would no doubt be saying "no! it can't be!" I notice they are taking on Dick's article one at a time rather than just bumping him off and that is hopeful. I wonder if Dick can undelete.66.30.94.153 14:52, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, N26825. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Analogic logo.png) was found at the following location: User:N26825/sandbox. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 03:33, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NowCommons: File:Friedkin.jpg[edit]

File:Friedkin.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Friedkin.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 11:19, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
