Etymology[edit]

Peruvanmala is a word of Malayalam origin which means The Big Mountain.The temple location is Mazhuvancheri which got its name from Mazhuvan which means Lord Parashurama in Malayalam. He is the one who built the temple. Akshay Sreeraman Kechery (talk) 20:15, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
