Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Jgwikid edited from December 2020 to August 2021 before they were blocked for disruptive editing. Lorem333Ipsum edited from August 2021 to April 2022 before they were blocked after being discovered to be Jgwikid due to behavioral evidence. MP102 edited from April to May 2022 before that account was also blocked for sockpuppetry. From April to May 2022, this person has also made edits using several IP addresses in the range 85.221.0.0/16. 85.221.129.243, 85.221.140.110, 85.221.133.83 are all addresses that have been discovered to be Jgwikid and blocked. 85.221.133.150 is the same person but has not been blocked. 85.221.133.99 is the IP currently being used by this person to edit.

Through all of their accounts and IP addresses, they frequently edit the same articles relating to track and field athletes and Poland, such as Femke Bol, Keely Hodgkinson, Elaine Thompson-Herah, Letesenbet Gidey, Faith Kipyegon, Yalemzerf Yehualaw, Athing Mu, Eilish McColgan, 2022 World Athletics Continental Tour, Natalia Kaczmarek, Olga Tokarczuk, and Poznań. In the histories of these articles, there are many examples of these related accounts/IPs making similar major edits and edit summaries and reverting edits to restore page versions approved by previous accounts.

Keely Hodgkinson: After an edit by 85.221.129.243 on April 24, 2022 was reverted, MP102 made basically the same edits to restore that version on May 1, 2022 ([1]).

Yalemzerf Yehualaw: After a series of edits by MP102 were reverted on May 1, 2022, 85.221.140.110 restored the previous version on May 7, 2022 ([2]).

Elaine Thompson-Herah: In May 2022, this person made the same edit three times under MP102, 85.221.140.110, and 85.221.133.150 after being reverted the first two times ( [3], [4], [5]).

Femke Bol: The edit summary "copy-edit" was used by both Jgwikid ([6]) and Lorem333Ipsum ([7]).

Poznań: The edit summary "temp.save" was used frequently by both Jgwikid ([8]) and Lorem333Ipsum ([9])

Eilish McColgan: The edit summary "PB" was used by both Lorem333Ipsum ([10]) and 85.221.129.243 ([11]).

The IP range 85.221.0.0/16 should be blocked, and any other accounts and IP addresses found to be used by this person should also be blocked. PM800 (talk) 19:10, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • As well as the edit warring, I see some unpleasant racialised personal attacks coming from the person behind these accounts. For such a wide range, it doesn't have a huge amount of logged-out traffic on it, and I believe that a substantial proportion of those are coming from this person.
