After two years in the second division, the 2001/02 season debuted in the top category. His career has been ascending and after being runner-up in 2005, he won the title in 2006 and 2007.
They made their debut in European competition by playing in the Intertoto Cup in the summer of 2005. Despite drawing (1-1) in their debut match against SK Sturm Graz, they were clearly beaten 5-0 on Austrian soil.
After winning the league, in the 2006/07 season they debuted in the UEFA Cup, being eliminated again in the first round.
