Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Binary XML has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Hi there.

As you have waited nearly one and a half months to question this revert, I may not be able to provide as much information now as I could have previously. Having said that, it appeared from your edit that you were linking to an external website without a valid reason, as the actual link does not mention "sourceforge.net" once, yet you appended this to its description - which is why you would have received a warning.

Due to the incredible size of Wikipedia, and the number of changes made every second, many users like myself use special semi-automated tools to deal with questionable edits, requiring only one click to both undo the edit, and also issue the user with a warning. It appears in this case that I've accidentally clicked on the wrong reason to provide you with a warning - ie. "removal of content" instead of "adding irrelevant links". While you did receive the wrong warning, you were still meant to receive one, and as this has now been explained, I see no point in replacing it with a new one, stating only what I would have just told you.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Also, I recommend you review WP:LINK - Wikipedia's policy on including external links in articles.

Have a great day :)
