Peruvanmala Mahadeva Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva situated on the peak of Peruvanmala Hill , Kechery in the Thrissur district.It is considered to be one among 108 Shivalayams of Kerala established by Parashurama .The temple is governed by Cochin Devaswom Board .
LEGEND
The temple was built by Lord Parashurama,the sixth avatar of Mahavishnu. It is among the 108 Shivalayams.
FESTIVAL
Mahashivratri is the major festival celebrated in the temple . Kavadi is the main attraction of the temple festival.
