Parappukkavu Bhagavathy temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Goddess Bhagavathy situated near the banks of Kechery river in Kechery,Thrissur .It is considered to be Thattakam of 18 Deshams surrounding Kechery.Temple is famous for its annual celebration Pooram.

Legend

Deities

The major deity in the temple is Goddess Bhagavathy.She is considered to be in Bhadrakali form. Besides Bhagavathy, other deities are Durga, Brahmarakshas, Nagas,Dandan, Kiratha Murthi, Vishnumaya Swami, Muthappan and Thazhathekkavu Bhagavathy. Architecture

This is a beautiful Kerala style traditional temple with a nalambalam, namaskara mandapam, kodimaram and shrines of upa devatas. The shrine has a chathura sreekovil. Akshay Sreeraman Kechery (talk) 21:17, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
