Integrity Music is a record label and worship ministry that is committed to helping people worldwide experience the manifest presence of God through worship and taking songs of substance to the local church and its leaders around the world. Part of the David C Cook family, a nonprofit global resource provider serving the Church with life-transforming materials. With offices in Nashville, Tennessee (US) and Brighton, East Sussex (UK).

About

Founded as a direct-to-consumer music club in 1987 as Integrity Music, Integrity grew into one of Christian music's biggest success stories and helped ignite the widespread popularity of praise and worship music. Integrity Music's writers and worship leaders are committed to taking songs of substance to the local Church and its leaders around the world. These songs include “Great Are You Lord,” “Your Great Name,” “Revelation Song,” “Open The Eyes Of My Heart,” “I Am Free,” the No. 1 radio hit “We Believe” (Newsboys), “In Christ Alone,” “10,000 Reasons,” “Everlasting God,” “Here I Am To Worship,” “Blessed Be Your Name,” “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever,” “Spirit Break Out,” “Guardian,” “Waiting Here For You,” “God’s Great Dance Floor,” “The Lion & The Lamb,” “Soul On Fire,” and many more.

Integrity Music distributes materials in over 200 countries and their songs have been translated and recorded in numerous languages, including Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Dutch, French, Portuguese and Hindi. Proceeds from the sale of Integrity’s (and David C Cook’s) products are combined with one hundred percent of charitable donations to fund ministry projects with international congregations and partners. Together, they join in co-mission to create, translate and distribute life-transforming resources.

History

Integrity Music was founded in 1987 with the purchase of the music division of Integrity Communications, owned by Charles Simpson Ministries.[1] Simpson was a member of the Shepherding Movement and pastor of Covenant Church of Mobile.[2]

Since 1983, the label and its predecessor has produced the popular Hosanna! Music series of praise and worship music which started with the release of Behold His Majesty, with worship Leader Ron Tucker, in 1983.[3] By 1995 the firm was publicly traded on Nasdaq under the symbol ITGR.[4] In 2001, Integrity started Integrity Publishers.[1] The company changed its name in 2002 to Integrity Media to better reflect its move into other markets. Also in 2002, the firm purchased the Nashville-based record label INO Records. This added to their artist roster, which already included Don Moen, Hillsong Music, Paul Baloche, and Israel and New Breed. The label also released the soundtrack to the film The Passion of the Christ[5] and the Time-Life-advertised Songs 4 Worship collections.[6] In 2004, co-founder and chairman Michael Coleman took Integrity private.[7]

In 2005, Integrity Music and INO Records began distribution through Sony BMG as part of the Provident Label Group.[8] In 2006, Integrity Publishers was sold to Thomas Nelson.[9]

Integrity also sells music, film and digital media via direct mail and Internet sales, as well as direct mail greeting cards through DaySpring/Hallmark.[citation needed]

In 2011, Integrity Media sold Integrity Music to ministry company David C. Cook. Headquarters moved from Mobile, Alabama to David C. Cook headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado.[10][11]
