After it was rebuilt and reopened it was renamed the Federal Correctional Institution and would take in Medium Security Inmates, which was later changed to Low Security Inmates. |

The Federal Correctional Complex, Oakdale (FCC Oakdale) is a United States federal prison complex for male inmates in Louisiana. It is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a division of the United States Department of Justice, and consists of two main facilities:
- The Federal Correctional Institution, Oakdale (FCI Oakdale): houses low-security male inmates.
- The Federal Detention Center, Oakdale (FDC Oakdale): an administrative facility housing male pre-trial and holdover inmates. An adjacent satellite prison camp houses minimum-security male inmates.[1]
FCC Oakdale is located in central Louisiana, 35 miles (56 km) south of Alexandria and 58 miles (93 km) north of Lake Charles.
