Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Cwm Edno. This boggy hollow is where the Dakota 'St Kevin' belonging to Aer Lingus, Registration EI-AFL, crashed on the night of 10 January 1952. For years the tail section of the aeroplane was visible in the bog, but it has been removed in recent years. The bodies that were recovered from the bog, and not all were, are buried at Llanbeblig. Caernarvonshire Constabulary at the time described the ground conditions at Cwm Edno as being atrocious.
