The ladies of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, have missed their chance to date Zayn. Or, rather, they’ll have to woo him in person. The singer told Nylon that he was kicked off Tinder because no one believed he was the real Zayn Malik.
“It’s not been too successful for me, I’ll be honest,” the former One Direction member told the magazine while promoting his upcoming album, Room Under the Stairs. “Everyone accused me of catfishing. They’re like, ‘What are you using Zayn Malik’s pictures for?’ I’ve been kicked off once or twice.”
To be totally honest, would you believe the real Zayn was mingling with the masses on Tinder? Anyone who has a kid with Gigi Hadid would probably be on an elite dating app, but then again, I can’t imagine that Raya is really popping off in the ten-mile radius around Zayn’s farm. It doesn’t sound as though he has any interest in relocating to somewhere like New York or Los Angeles just for the better dating pool. The singer likes living the farm life, and he claims his neighbors don’t seem to notice that a world-famous musician is buying milk next to them.
“They wake up at 5, 6 in the morning, they’re on their farm, they’re exhausted — if they see you in Giant [getting groceries], they don’t care about you,” he told the magazine. He really seems like he loves it, and maybe all that’s missing is a normal girl to spend some time with. There’s an opportunity here for a dating app — perhaps one that’s currently experiencing a minor scandal — to get him a verified account.
