Motivation[edit]
This growing database of Cornish–English terms standardised by Akademi Kernewek's Place Names (Q115349858) will provide access to valuable data on Cornish-language translations for English-language place-names and their agreed spelling. I hope this will help improve the quantity and quality of the Cornish-language labels in Wikidata. Many other languages would also benefit, as they also use the Cornish spelling of place-names in Cornwal rather than the modern English language spelling.
