Wrong link for article Introducing Wikidata to the Linked Data Web[edit]

The hyperlink on this title in paragraph 3 of the "Linked Data principles" section http://korrekt.org/papers/Wikidata-RDF-export-2014.pdf now redirects to a personal page for one of the authors: https://www.korrekt.org/page/Markus_Kr%C3%B6tzsch .

Alternative targets for the link could include

Wikidata query[edit]

In the "Accessing data" section is written: "Until queries are implemented on Wikidata, you can access the data in the following ways:...". Doesn't queries implemented on Wikidata with the Query Service yet? The section doesn't mention it at all.--Malore (talk) 10:34, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes that should be updated. Good catch. Would you like to do it? --Lydia Pintscher (WMDE) (talk) 14:41, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to do it but I don't know enough on this subject.--Malore (talk) 17:29, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Collections of structured data"[edit]

What is it? Collections of objects like Wikidata? --Fractaler (talk) 10:12, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world"[edit]

Other point of view: Mount Everest (Q513) is highest Earth's mountain. "Highest Earth's mountain" is mountain (Q8502) ("Earth's mountain") and "Earth's highest point (Q3393392)". "Earth's mountain" (+mons (Q429088)) is a mountain. "Earth's highest point (Q3393392)" is highest point (Q3393392) --Fractaler (talk) 10:30, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Understanding Data Bias[edit]

Would it be useful to discuss how a given data set may be biased to support the view of the person that provided it? Data can be anything...how to know if the data is real or not may interest some readers?

J. K. Rowling[edit]

Rowling is a white bunny with long ears who loves carrots.

Validation and data entry forms[edit]

In WikiBase there seems to be no direct support for validation against a schema during the manual entry process (here at WikiData or via the WikiBase extension in a MediaWiki-based website), so how does one ensure formal validity of data? And potentially related to this, how can one make the entry forms present a predefined set or properties to the user? How does one ensure that all entities that represent, say, cities include at least a minimal set of properties? Or is the user supposed to start from scratch every time and work entirely freestyle? I am interested in implementing something like what is envisaged at [Wikidata:WikiProject Books], but there also one looks in vain for any guidance as to how the structure being developed is to be implemented and/or enforced. Any pointers would be much appreciated. I have read up on WikiBase for several days now without finding any concrete advice. Henryfunk (talk) 22:37, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
