- 1. Welcome to 8th grade "Team Hybrids"
- 2. Mrs. McCoy~Math and Science My name is Michelle McCoy. This is my 11th year teaching at Wagar. I live in Newport with my wonderful husband and two awesome sons! Ryan is 7 and in 2nd grade. Dylan is 5 and in Kindergarten. I had a great summer with them. We have a lake cottage in Hudson and we love to swim, boat, and tube! We went to Michigan Adventure with Mrs. Bank and her kids this summer too. It was a great time! Hope you had a fun summer.
- 3. About the classes Math: You MUST do your homework!!!!! I WILL help you. I know math is hard, it's ok!! We will work through it together. If you put in a little effort, I promise I can teach you all the math you will need for Algebra next year. Oh ya, BRING A PENCIL! Science: Listen and take notes. We will learn a lot together this year. I will try to make the class fun! Pay attention, follow directions, and try to learn something!!! Just think, you can earn a high school credit just for showing up everyday and doing some work!! Isn't that cool?
- 4. Technology! We will use the graphing calculators to GRAPH! I will attempt to do cool things on the "VICKI". I took a online class this summer, and I will try and share some cool things I learned. If I need help, I will rely on you for help!
- 5. Rules (the boring part) BE NICE! That about sums up everything. Respect me and each other. Follow the same rules that every teacher has taught you since Kindergarten. Most of all BE NICE!
