MB traveled from Houston to Belize, visiting several archaeological and natural sites. At Xunantunich, he saw spider and howler monkeys in the ruins of El Castillo, a 130 foot tall structure. Later, he toured Caracol, the largest Maya site in Belize, which once covered 55 square miles. He also saw the Rio on Pools, a series of connected pools formed by granite boulders. MB then flew to Ambergris Caye, the largest island in Belize, and learned about the diverse plant and animal life in Belize, including the bamboo chicken iguana.
