In a resounding display of superiority, Real Madrid secured a comprehensive 5-0 triumph over Alaves at the Bernabeu on Tuesday night. The atmosphere was charged with significance as the home side was greeted by a Guard of Honour, a gesture of respect from Alaves to the reigning league champions.

With the pressure off, Carlo Ancelotti’s side exhibited a clinical edge, opting to field a strong lineup to maintain their rhythm ahead of the upcoming Champions League Final on June 1st.

Real Madrid wasted no time asserting their dominance, with all four of their goals exquisitely crafted and executed following fluid passing movements. The opening goal came courtesy of Jude Bellingham, who expertly volleyed home a pinpoint pass from Toni Kroos to set the tone for the evening:

In the 27th minute, Vinicius Jr doubled Real Madrid’s advantage, capitalizing on a mesmerizing sequence of play from Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga:

As half-time approached, Fede Valverde added to Alaves’ woes with a thunderous strike that left the opposition goalkeeper with no chance, further extending Real Madrid’s lead and consolidating their dominance:

The second half saw no respite for Alaves, as Vinicius Jr notched his second goal of the night in the 70th minute, courtesy of another incisive pass from Bellingham, highlighting the synergy between the two:

However, the night wouldn’t be complete without a contribution from the in-form Arda Güler, who continued his impressive scoring streak by finding the back of the net shortly after coming on as a substitute in the 62nd minute:

Amidst the flurry of goals, Thibaut Courtois stood tall in Real Madrid’s goal, delivering a commanding performance with nine saves, including some standout moments that showcased his reflexes and shot-stopping abilities, further solidifying his claim for a starting berth in the upcoming Champions League Final.
