What to watch for

Again, like last Saturday, there is no television. I really wished that I could have seen Julie Vanloo’s 8 assists off the bench, since I was interested in seeing how much of an impact she could make for Washington. And that’s even though I am not a fan of her signing, though I like her style of play.

Washington is coming off a close loss to the Dream last weekend, and hopefully will continue to play competitively tomorrow.

For the Lynx, they are coming off a 92-81 win over the Chicago Sky after Napheesa Collier and Courtney Williams scored a combined 34 points against a rebuilding Sky team. For more reading on what’s happening with the Lynx, check out this piece by Canis Hoopus’ Mitchell Hansen.

Anyway, tomorrow’s game will also serve as a kid’s game where students at local D.C. schools will head to ESA to watch a professional basketball game. If you are a teacher or student who happens to read this piece, feel free to share the piece at our X account @BF_Mystics or email me at aleeinthedmv AT gmail, and you know the rest.

We’ll see how this game goes tomorrow before the roster cuts begin....
